The Service

Daily Sharpen is an independent practice service designed for self-directed study.

We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any university, examination board, admissions body, or testing provider unless explicitly stated.

The free taster

The free taster is seven practice sessions, at most one per day, available for ten days from its start.

It is available once per learner, requires only an email account, and needs no payment card. It is a sample of the Service, not a subscription trial, and does not renew.

Subscriptions

Paid access is sold as a monthly or annual subscription that renews automatically until cancelled.

You can cancel online at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.

If a price changes, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal.

Refunds

By purchasing, you request immediate access to the Service and acknowledge that, where permitted by law, you lose the statutory right to cancel once access begins.

Subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partially used periods.

Nothing in this section affects statutory rights that cannot be excluded. We always correct duplicate charges and billing errors.

Purchases made through an app store or other reseller follow that seller's refund process.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl, or systematically extract (including via automated tools or agents) our content, including questions, lessons, methods, and similar materials made available through the Service
• share your account with any other user
• use the Service to build, train, or improve a competing product that replicates the core functionality of the Service
• reverse engineer, decompile, or bypass security or access controls of the Service

Age

The Service is intended for learners aged 16 and over.

Purchases must be made by someone aged 18 or over, typically a parent or guardian, or with their consent.

Where we become aware that a user is under 16, we will take reasonable steps to delete associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Content and learning data

You retain ownership of anything you enter into the Service.

The Service's content, including its questions, lessons, methods, and progress models, belongs to us.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and process your answers and learning records solely to operate, secure, improve, and research the Service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may use de-identified or aggregated learning data for product improvement and research.

No guaranteed outcomes

The Service provides educational practice and progress evidence.

We do not guarantee any outcomes, including grades, test scores, or admissions decisions.

Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may update, modify, or suspend parts of the Service where necessary for maintenance, security, or improvement.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be legally excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of opportunity.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that may cause harm, security risk, or legal exposure.

You may stop using the Service, and delete your account, at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
